I thought I would relive some my childhood in video gaming today by embedding a couple of gems. This is footage from The Last Ninja and the The Last Ninja 2. The games were rock hard but were excellent and I loved the soundtrack to them.
Bear in mind that these games were on the C64 and so the audio and graphical limitations are evident but they paved the way for what was to come and back in their day they were excellent.
Ahhhh! I fucking LOVE the Last Ninja games! Played The Last Ninja 2 on my Commodore 64 to death when I was a kid. Although the fans will say that the C64 versions were the best, I admit I have a fondness for the Amiga ones too, and it's usually them I'll play on emulators nowadays.
